I am rapidly becoming a fan of this game...
I was considering writing a medium-length review about Lamunation, but I feel like it might be easier for me to just ramble without pictures because all the pictures I have saved are not really of any real note except this one:
...and my hype for it kinda died as I kept reading it. I had a similar experience with Seitokai Yakuindomo. So all I have to learn from this is that I probably shouldn’t binge media with very repetitive jokes as its entire plot.
On the bright side, I think that the good things about Lamunation are that its economic worldbuilding, albeit naive, are genuinely engaging. Also, I really appreciate that it’s so casual about gay relationships, although I wish that the protagonist was more gay than he already kinda is. Lamunation in general, aside from its capitalist utopia, pretty much perfectly represents Zoomer ideology and I recommend reading it if the concept of a gay comedy VN with tons of Western pop culture references interests you.
