Jeroen Funke (1976) est membre du collectif d’auteurs de bédés Lamelos et fait partie de la rédaction du magazine pour enfants Boekie Boekie. Parallèlement à ses activités dans la bédé et la sérigraphie, Jeroen confectionne des costumes de monstres sur sa machine à coudre. Il expose régulièrement lors de festivals de la bédé, entre autres à St. Petersbourg, Poznan, Lucques, Barcelone. En 2011, une de ses bédés gagne un prix dans la catégorie essai. Il adore manger des fruits. Dessine aussi sa propre série, Victor & Vishnu, dont le premier album a  paru en 2010 et le quatrième paraîtra en 2014. Et il prépare une bédé sur un nouvel héros, Pinky.

Apparently 'The Four Friends' is a whole series, and judging by the other titles on the back they must be quite interesting. "The four friends are swallowing lots of cum" is by far the most interesting title, haha. It is the smallest comic book i've ever seen. It measures about 4,5cm width to a 7cm height and has about 10 pages.

The story is about four mischievous friends, who are getting in all kinds of trouble. Only to find themselves to be embarrassed in front of everybody else. Gotta love a moral to a story.

Made by the Dutch comic collective Lamelos, and bought at the comic store Lambiek in Amsterdam. Later on i've been able to work together with Lamelos on a project for HUB Footwear. Good guys with great styles, storylines and a big diversity.
