Fire guts houses, shops as petrol tanker explodes in Lambata, Niger

A tanker carrying petrol on Sunday exploded in Lambata town, Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State.

According to an eye-witness who spoke to Okay.ng, the fire caused by a collision of a tanker and trailer gutted houses, shops, vehicles at the scene.

As of the time of filing this report, no official casualty figures have been released by the authorities.
