Lamashtu, Daughter of The Sky. Watercolor pencils and ink in my sketchbook.
Hiya! I have a question that relates with your "Age of Monsters/The Great Game" campaign. It relates to the Varisien goddess Desna and her position on this cosmic conflict between Lamashtu and Mormo. I know that she DEFINITELY despises Lamashtu and would like seeing her be destroyed after what she did to her friend and mentor, Curchanus (stealing his title of Beasts and leaving him mortally wounded), but she might not like the idea of Mormo taking it for herself. What do you think?
Desna mourns Curchanus, but knows that holding onto that grief to the point of opposing an attempt to strip the Animal domain from Lamashtu is unproductive. Plus, she is also a primordial entity like Mormo, and knows firsthand how millennia of time can change a divine being. I think Desna isn't going to take huge risks for Mormo, especially considering how mixed the successes of her own Abyssal interventions have gone. But Desna opposes Lamashtu sufficiently to make her and Mormo effectively allies.
Gr'alla, an NPC in my pathfinder 2e game. She's a devoted priestess of Lamashtu and the second last surviving member of her tribe. Be nice.
mother lilith, you who has freedom printed behind your eyelids,
guide us through the forest of uncertainty.
burn away the doubt with your flame of hell and melt away our hesitance.
monstrous one, blind to shame, light the way to a life free of guilt.
allow us shameless ecstasy. allow us pleasure and indulgence, freedom to live the life we crave.
mother lilith, you who the world despises, who is unshaken by judgement and persecution, we beg you to print freedom behind our eyelids.
freedom from shame, freedom from self-doubt, freedom from puritan value,
mother lilith, you who is unbridled freedom.

@afraidparade i never fonished this but i intend to someday. so.
I mean, if you want to worship an ancient demon who was responsible for infant and maternal mortalities, there's Lamashtu. If you want an ancient goddess for that, there's Artemis. Both are from open traditions. You don't need to appropriate a Jewish demon.
