Coyly posting my LaloGus fic here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/84171746/chapters/221961791 Something I wanted to note that I couldn't put there: I named this fic "Weaker Than Water" as a reference to Ana's lifeguard story in BoJack Horseman, in which she talks about how she became a lifeguard to never again be "weaker than water", but soon learned that there are some people who will insist upon drowning and refuse to be saved. My perception of LaloGus is that very obviously it would be a "make each other worse ship", but I love exploring interesting dynamics. If a relationship were ever to develop, it would be self-serving and indulgent, drowning and grabbing onto the other to drown faster. Gus is someone who is very strict with himself and doesn't let himself indulge, so this premise basically explores the idea of him doing just that.
