What time's your flight? Nine. Cutting it fine. I know... I just wanted to see you before I left.

Naas Historic Trail & Lakelands
A walk around Naas Lakelands and Naas Historic Trail is highly recommended. It has never been so important to take care for your wellbeing.
Discover the wildlife around the lakes and see their natural habitats. Information boards makes it fun and easy to learn about various plants, insects and animal life. People can see how local habitats function and in turn, teach others the importance of protecting the ecosystems of Naas.
There is more to the lakes than ever before, with the inclusion of exercise machines and chess tables. There is even a story trail for the little ones on the book ‘Geansaí Ottó’ which follows the path around the lakes. These storyboards help young people with literacy both in English and Irish.
Along the trail, there are opportunities to learn the history of this area, from those who worked on the railway line to it now becoming an important trail connecting the lake areas to the town centre. Another story is of Naas workhouse, which opened in the 1840’s to help the poorest in the community.
So wrap up, blow off the cobwebs! Explore Naas Lakelands and Historic Trail.
