The team is called Lady Racers. It isn’t a Gaskettes racing team, it just so happens that as of now there are only Gaskettes on the team. If any ladies out there are in the Los Angeles area and want to race with us in October, get in touch! Facebook Instagram

Our moped bar, Crawford’s, sponsored the Lady Racers and gave us these cool baseball tees as well as some “sponsor beers” after the race. Next time you drop by Crawford’s look for our race photo behind the bar!

The first race was in April and it was tons of fun. Dave Fink is the founder of AMRA and organized a really fun event which Bob Ross sponsored. It’s a little different than MopedGP or Tomahawk Cup in that we qualified using Time Attacks, where we rode around the track individually and locked in our best time. The faster times raced in Group A and the slower times raced in Group B. Lady Racers qualified for Group B and our very own Michelle Gaskette came in 1st place and Donavon Gaskette came in 2nd place. Nicole Gaskette, her first time racing ever, came in at last place. Keep practicing, lady!

The Lady Racers sponsored the second race in June, where Donavon Gaskette took 1st place! Also, we made Hilary the Lady Racers manager.
