it warms my heart how, at the end of naruto, instead of sasuke and sakura getting together right after he comes back to konoha, as a lot of shonen would do bc the guy is back and the girl still loves him, so they get married, he decides to have a journey of self healing first. i think it’s just so perfect and such a good message. he didn’t want to be with sakura without figuring himself out first, without making sure he was as free of his demons as he could be, and that he would be able to care for her and be good for her, like she always wanted to be for him. and how sakura understands and accepts it and just waits for him. it’s just really nice to see that after all the chaos they went through it wasn’t just ignored bc “she could fix him” or whatever shit, the both of them spent time growing and changing and understanding themselves better before they entered a relationship, and that’s why they worked so well together and got married so quickly after they got together again. blank period sasusaku has a perfect set up for a healthy and stable relationship, and I like how we have information enough to prove that, but at the same time a lot of space for fan speculations

i just know sakura did bunches of tsunade’s paperwork lmao I can literally visualize the great godaime drunk as fuck laying at the sofa of the hokage’s office while sakura’s sitting at the desk forging her master’s signature on official documents

the urge to write fanfiction about the master-disciple bond between sakura and tsunade is stronger everyday. the way tsunade absolutely shaped sakura in every possible way. how she can see a version of herself in sakura that didn’t have to go through the same losses that she did. the way sakura could finally have this one person who believed in her more than in anyone else, and who trusted she could become one of the greatest kunoichi that ever were. how this was really all sakura needed to finally flourish into the amazing kunoichi she did become. they will be the inspiration to clean the spiderwebs surrounding my ao3 account

I love sakura’s little *sign* after sasuke grabs jiji’s hand, she seems so done with him, like she has had to deal with lots of his jealous stunts before lmaoooo

some changes we’re really upsetting but generally I really liked the sasusaku moments in the episode, the ring scene looked so good !! I almost cant believe it, sp did great, tue animation was SO BEAUTIFUL, almost movie-like, this weekend has been a win-win for sasusaku fans

who would’ve thought reading a 700+ chapters manga to be able to write better fanfiction about it would actually take A LOT of time??
