Lennox headed out to put her PoliSci major to good use in this awful wasteland and join the military. As she headed into the compound, she ran into Dennis, a dormmate she barely spoke to. The trauma of these attacks by the Simviets must have done a number on his head, because he immediately pulled Lennox into a kiss.
She brushed it off and got to enlisting and beginning her basic training.
Meanwhile, Papa is protective, even from beyond the grave, and will not have strange boys kissing his daughter without retribution. So, tragically, Dennis perished and rose again, only to drag another dormmate, Marisol, half in the grave as well.
From the wreckage rose Lennox’s family, though they were not the loving parents and brother she once knew, but Lovecraftian beasts! So she fled her destroyed home to find another. It was a home, almost entirely destroyed, but the basement remained intact enough to make it her permenant dwelling.
She soon learned that grills indoors were a definite fire hazard, and after she had to put out a second fire, she decided it was best to put that thing outside.
