Lacey's Granbull winds up becoming just as obsessed as with Penny as Koraidon/Miraidon are, the often nervous pooch latching onto Penny and enjoying her attention. Likewise, Penny's Veevees become just as obsessed with Lacey, as she's weak to baby doll eyes and thus often gives into treat demands.
It's a surreal experience for the pair when they swap sleeping positions, as Lacey wakes up with Veevees all over her and Penny wakes up after sleeping on Granbull's tummy, the duo obviously used to the other way around.
Lacey scolding Penny for the state of her room, the two working in tandem to clean it. Penny only starts regularly cleaning because she feels bad about having Lacey help that one time.
Penny finding out Lacey has been subtly helping her buff her team up without her noticing, only realising when she battles someone and realises she's subbed Moonblast for Pixilate Hyper Voice.

Surprising everyone, Lacey is good at and enjoys shooting games. The two spend hours playing a zombie arcade shooter together as the Fairy specialist proves herself to be a real deadshot.
Penny, on the other hand, shocks her GF by showing herself as surprisingly adept at rhythm games. And dancing in general, the nerd losing herself in the rhythm and throwing some actual moves as she plays.
Both of them are super duper hyper ultra mega nervous about their first kiss, totally bumping faces the first time they try. It's sickeningly adorable when they do kiss for the first time though.
When Lacey gets really upset, her accent gets notably more southern, something which Penny secretly finds really adorable. It does mean if both of them get mad, their target will deal with a mix of a Galarian and Southern Unovan accents though.
Lacey has an Eevee of her own as a gifted egg from Penny's own Veevees, but she's been having some serious choice paralysis on evolving it. So many adorable options...
Surprising everyone, Lacey is quite lenient on the Team Star situation, once she finds out all the facts and that no official channels were working to stop it. She does warn Penny on staying out of trouble, though.
