I’ve been working on this new series of paintings that thinks about the spaces between books as passages that can be navigated as if one is attempting to read the library as a landscape of multiple, conflicting ideas. I’m surprised how much the negative spaces in these paintings resemble spines of books on shelves. The title of the series is ‘Labyrinths (Libraries)’ and I’ll be showing the first of these with @rohprojects later this year in December. Enjoying my time making these!
