This time two years ago it was all systems GO!! My waters had broken at 1.30am... and boy did they go .... I was in bed and almost swimming !! I ended up standing on a towel while all this water escaped me .... ( first time my waters had ever broken naturally - so was rather a surprise !) somehow my waters stopped flooded long enough to get to the hospital ( 5 min drive ) but as soon as I got out of the car .. back they came !!! In the delivery suite .. I was back to standing On towels!! How can one body hold so much fluid?? But I tell you what ... once that fluid was out and lily had dropped off my bladder I think I had the best and biggest wee of my life !!! ( not been able too wee properly for 4 months with umpteen kidney infections !!) . .
