I would do anything to bring you back
Well, among those lore questions that pop up in my head, I have got this one for a long while.
We know humans have, apparently and with the exception of Callum, no arcanum to connect with, so they resort to Dark Magic to have magic powers. In order to channel such power they requiere to consume magical creatures. However, humans are consumed a little bit in the process, since they become corrupted or aged.
Xadians are all connected to some arcanum, yet only the âspeshulâ ones can properly manifest some power [molten skin], a high skill [shadow-like-invisibility or wings], or simply magic [magical wings, illusions].
Itâs impossible for me to believe that, in a world so big like Xadia, every elf of the land obediently accepted their weaknesses⊠I mean, I would expect a fucking Skywing, as random and free of morals as they are, would end up playing with the thought⊠at least.
So⊠Canât Xadians use their own essences [since they consider too taboo to use another creature's bodies] to perform Dark Magic? Would they not experience a similar effect to that decay that humans have when they use too much Dark Magic?.Â
All of them accept what they have and what they donât have so obediently? just like that?. Are this show telling me that all skywings who feel weak would never be tempted by the use of Dark Magic? I would believe that rigid moral coming from Sunfires or Moonshadows, but⊠Skywings? Really? A crooked skywing that was not Speshul enough to have wings and wants to do magic to run free along Xadia?
Or a Moonshadow too tortured with his own weakness would not resort to it, at least once, to save a loved one?. Ahhhh, the hell I can't believe that. I want to explore the hypocrisy of Xadians. I want this show to be mature, really... These things would never be explored in a children shows. Sad, sad.
[Also, I've been playing as free as a Skywing with new tools and techniques in SAI, and got this. The whole picture is bigger but I did such a mess down that part XD Honestly... moving outside your comfort zone ends up in messy results XD But I loved the concept of a too bloody Ethari]
