I just was told today about a person named "La-ah." As in: "Ladasha." Obviously, because I am an English nerd, I thought this was The Best Thing Ever.
The Internet apparently does not agree, and predictably it does not agree in the most racist ways possible, and I just think that's interesting because what came immediately to MY mind, personally, was Andrew Hussie's code structures "~ath" "^cake" and "dis*" and somehow Hussie is treated as a brilliant manipulator of the English language but this is seen as dumb ghetto trash.
Hmmm I wonder why there's a difference in the treatment hmmm hmmmmmm it's a mystery all right
