Half-asleep on the bed

And I think of moving on the floor

To give you room

But instead you move

And I realize I’m sad

Because in the morning I won’t wake up

To the smell of you tangled in all my sheets

Instead I’ll wake up to an already empty room

And a note on the stand telling me you’ll see me

12:02am: It’s getting late, please get some sleep
