The law of probability says that at least one of you belly enjoyers reading this has to have some thoughts about BOTW Link and his relationship with food. He's probably a decent cook. He probably woke up hungry in that shrine and the feeling never really left him. Personally, I think he loves being full but never has the time or opportunity to cook himself a big enough meal to keep him full for longer than a few hours. Hyperactive metabolism and all.
He probably equates the feeling of being stuffed full with safety. He's always on the move, so he knows he can't eat too much at once, or else he compromises his mobility. But once he got his house, I like to think he ate an entire pot of soup just to see what it felt like, and then blissfully passed out on his bed. Link is very lean, so imagining him with a round belly full of food is very cute. He probably loved it, too!
I love the thought of Link grinning at his full, round belly after a giant meal. He's so full that he can feel his sides stretching, and he can't stop rubbing his belly. He loves how round and taut it feels under his hands, and he is laughing and sighing and groaning and belching happily as sleep creeps up on him. He knows he's safe here, safe enough to explore his love for food and fullness. He falls asleep, wondering what it would be like to have someone else to do this with.
