There are still a few more party members to be introduced, but who do not have any sprite art done. Keep an eye out for these fellas in the future!

Olathe- directly north to the southern border of The Western States of America. Known for its incredible landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and total disconnect from the west of the world. Completely inescapable, and home to last population of survivors after the White Flash... at least, according to its residents.

Maxwell “Maxie” Millian is one such resident, a former radio host and current hermit. He hasn’t bothered to step foot into the outside world for around a decade now, content to live in his isolated paradise surrounded by the imposing figures of Olathe’s now-nonfunctional power stations. Maxie dreams of contacting life outside of Olathe, desperate to prove that the future is still a possibility. After receiving a message on his old walkie-talkie, a relic of his childhood days, Maxie sets out to cross the northern border of Olathe and enter the neighbouring state of Tymien, the last-known location of the voice on the other side. 

LISA: The Wonderful is an upcoming RPG-maker fangame set in the LISA universe. It will explore the lore around the geography of Olathe, the psyche of a civilised but isolated man, unaware of the depths his community has fallen to, and what measures humanity might resort to to keep the species alive... outside of more traditional means of breeding. 

The gameplay mechanics will remain fairly standard, but development is still in its very early stages- who knows what might come next!

gay rights is drawing you and your boyfriend as LISA characters

(i’m the twink on the left, my husband @janetofficial is the bear on the right)

by which i mean i’m currently working on the art direction and plotline before tackling the actual coding process. i feel i have a really good idea going... tentative title is lisa: the wonderful. 

- flesh out the lore of olathe itself and what olathe actually is (the current gameplan is that it’s a combo of kansas and colorado, both states that have a town called “olathe”.)

- a focus on team development and relationship dynamics, as well as more substantial character development to the party members

- exploration of different ways people would try to sustain life other than reproduction- immortality research, “the next evolution of humanity”, etc.
