Started playing Far Cry 4 again for like the millionth time. I just cleared the first outpost and I got all the Golden Path calling me their savior, that I am meant for greatness.
And since I know already all the story, I am crying because I am realizing truly how lost Ajay is in all of this—he is trying his best for his mother’s homeland while also trying to realize who he is and what does it mean that there is a legacy people expect him to continue on.
His father was murdered, he does not know why, the only person willing and that can give him answers is the fucking dictator that did not leave a good first impression, his is trying to mediate between Sabal and Amita, and ughhhh.
He is lost in where it is supposed to be his country, and he doesn’t know if he is doing right or wrong, but he only knows that people cry to him, and that nobody else pulls the trigger when it should matter :(

I definitely need to write a fanfic in which the civil war gets peacefully resolved because everyone realizes Ajay is literally the appropriate person to rule Kyrat—he is favored by the Golden Path followers, due to his parents and also his great dees, but he is also appointed by Pagan Min as the heir to the throne.

(this reminds me of the DLC in Far Cry 6… sounds to me like it is implied Ajay assumed the role of King and nuked Montana LMAO)
It's a good thing that you were there to help Bhadra when she was in trouble. Perhaps you are her guardian now, eh? I saw you coming out of that burning building with Bhadra in your arms. You saved her life. You are a hero, Ajay. Bhadra is very fortunate to have a saviour in you. She has a kindness that is rare in the youth these days and you should protect her. She's merely a girl but there is something special about her.
