"If you get me his phone, I might reconsider."
█ ▌ A soft sigh escaped her lips as Holly absentmindedly starred off into the distant. People watching out the window always made the time pass by quicker, especially when she was waiting rather (im)patiently for someone to arrive. It become sort of a past time of hers since the unexpected delays in her schedules have become more frequent; much to her dismay. With her mind currently lost in one of her pseudo daily wonderings, the day dreamer stirred the remaining traces of her chai latte. Holly wasn’t sure if she was being stood up or if the other had forgotten about their pre-arranged meeting. Then again, it has been nearly twenty minutes since she was to meet up with her female companion for lunch.
█ ▌ ‘Hopefully, Kyungri’s just stuck in traffic or something…’ she contemplated.
█ ▌ It’s been a while since the twenty-one year old has hung out with her — let alone heard from her — so it would have been nice to play catch up with a familiar face. Shaking her head at the possibility that all of this might have gone to waste she snapped back to reality only to lean back into her seat. If Kyungri doesn’t show up in the next ten minutes, there was no reason for Holly to remain at the café. After all, she still had work to do at the lab and she knew her superiors at S.H.I.E.L.D. would want the test results as soon as possible. However, she had planned this arrangement with her in advance and did want to waste her efforts.
█ ▌ The clock was ticking away as Holly counted down the minutes. Her eyes quickly glanced at her watch to see that there was only five minutes left until her cut off point. ‘Come on… where are you?’ she thought to herself, wondering just where she could have been. Fortunately, her female companion had arrived before she left the vicinity. Raising her arm up, she attempted to gather the woman’s attention without causing too much of a scene. ❝ Over here, Kyungri, ❞ she gestured her over with a wave of her hand.
█ ▌ As soon as she arrived at her table, Holly put on a small pout to show her displeasure. The other had kept her waiting longer than she should have and made sure she knew about it. ❝ You’re nearly half an hour late, ❞ she pouted. ❝ But… ❞ she slowly drawled out, a mischievous glint her eye as she motioned towards the barista behind the counter. ❝ If you get me that guy’s phone number, I might reconsider forgiving you this time around. ❞
