“Kyokotsu” by Verreaux depicts the ghost of someone whose mortal remains lie at the bottom of a well.
Inktober 2017 day 27: Kyoukotsu
A Kyoukotsu is a vengeful spirit that takes a ghastly, skeletal form and emerges from wells. They are created from skeletal remains that were not properly buried and instead thrown down a well. These remains could come from someone who was murdered, committed suicide, or even someone who fell in by accident and died. Because of this, a powerful grudge is created and the remains transform into a shiryou (a ghost of the dead). When its well is disturbed, it awakens to curse the one responsible.

I saw a BO7 textpost that I disagreed with so I had to make my own. Anyway things Occured and there’s a separate post for the Jakotsu ones. Not bc he’s my favourite (even though he is) or because I have the most pictures of him (I do) but because there’s a concerning amount of textposts that fit him
[you are here] [2] [bonus: Jakotsu only] [3] [4]
