              Bad Pick Up Lines.

            What makes your muse the happiest they could ever be? 

As cheesy and idealistic as it sounds, what makes Ryoji the happiest he could be (at this time – of course, there’s always more of life to experience and he is always ready to explore all it has to offer) is seeing someone else smile because of something he did. Seeing people smile in general fills him with a lot of joy, but if he had a part to play in them feeling good, then it’s all the more rewarding. 

It was random encounter. Not so much the actual meeting, for it was rather common to run into people whether acquaintance, friend or stranger in the library, but rather how the encounter had transpired.

Reika’s library visit had started off as it usually did. She returned the books she had loaned previously before commencing her wandering of the aisles in search for new reading material. When at last she spotted a book that caught her fancy, it was only natural that she try and remove it from the shelf only the book simply refused to budge. The brunette yanked, shifted the neighbouring books to one side and even tried wiggling the stubborn paperback but it simply would not be moved.

The reason eventually became clear when she eased up on her attempts to pull the book out only to watch it slide off the shelf backwards, a solemn male face appearing in the crevice the book had left behind.

"Things are not always what they seem in this place. So, you can't take anything for granted."

Having whispered those words to her, the stranger disappeared as suddenly as he had appeared and Reika was left spellbound and bookless.
