Ok my favorite AUs are probably historical ones, specifically royalty—I’m reading a few Reylo fanfictions about kings and queens and heirs and ballrooms and battles and arranged marriages and I just love them so much!! Some of my favorite books are Pride and Prejudice, Victoria by Daisy Goodwin, Fatal Throne, and The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue (and its sequel, The Ladies’ Guide to Petticoats and Piracy), so that’s probably why I love royal/historical AUs so much lol. Some of my favorite tropes are arranged marriages, dancing together at a ball (with ~romantic tension~), and higher class/lower class forbidden relationships. A few historical/royalty AU Reylo fics that I’m reading/have read are The Heir of Redwall by @kylorenaissance , More Than Tolerable by second_chances (idk if they have a Tumblr), Queen of Alderaan by @bunilicious , The Scavenger Bride by @the-reylo-void , and Prevailed Upon to Marry by @politicalmamaduck .
