“Okay, we gotta pick a movie." Donned in Christmas pyjamas, laying in strange angle on her couch, one leg draped over the arm rest as she scrolled the list of Christmas movies available on Netflix with the remote. "By the time we find something good all out hot chocolate is gunna be cold."

"this place is a bore." alma decides to proclaim to the only person near her that could hear her voice over the shitty bass music that caused the floor to vibrate. "i'm swiping someones bottles and going to the beach and just bum it there, you comin'?"

lucy: book shop friend date tomorrow? 👉👈 lucy: i've been studying all week and i'm going stir crazy in this house.

"i love these." a hand reaches out to flop the bunny ears of kylee's costume. she'd never been to a halloween party at a bar before, it was very different different from the more wholesome get togethers of her high school years. it reminds her of that scene from mean girls explaining halloween parties for young adults, and suddenly she wonders if her own outfit is a bit suggestive. she hadn't seen any costumes that were truly scary, but maybe that wasn't the point.

"i can't tell you, not yet!" lucy calls from inside the walk in wardrobe, diligently putting her carefully selected halloween costume out of view, "it's a secret until halloween night."

lucy swings up and down between her heels and toes, glancing over the crowd searching over the crowed for her friend. lucy wasn't a raver, the idea sounded rather uncomfortable and very overstimulating, so she was glad there was an alternative for those who weren't so interested. "kylee!" she grins, waving her hands up in the air to hail the girl down, "i bought us cupcakes!"
