Interstate is the coolest
I hung out with my friend Ana yesterday and went to the Hyde Park Street Fair and watched Interstate play. They are so amazing. I love them all so much. I was telling Ana that they are super cool, and it doesn’t help any that I love beards. She has fallen in love with Interstate, and I couldn’t be happier to spread the word about them. They are a really cool Boise band with a website ( interstateband.net ) Also they are on tumblr! ( interstateband ) and on facebook and twitter and instagram and they are so neat.
I really like them a lot.
The “I love you"s that you didn’t say, make the ones that I do seem a waste.

This is the video clip from one of the posts I included in my 10 Favorite Television Scenes prompt. This is the "Get away from me! Get out of my life!" scene from Season 1 Episode 15 of Higher Ground. A.J Cook portrays Shelby Merrick; a 17 year old in a school for troubled teens. In this scene, it is revealed that her step father, who was sent to the hospital after having a heart attack, abused and molested her when she was younger. Hayden Christensen portrays Scott Barringer; Shelby's boyfriend who was also molested by his step mother.

Brunswick artist Kyle Downs will host an opening for his new work, titled "Currents," at the Durham Community School on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
The show is open to the public and will allow an up close look at the sculpture that Downs said uses a mix of exotic and hardwoods to depict the fanning out of Durham students to schools and destinations far beyond the region and even beyond Maine.
The project is the third piece of artwork at the school commissioned through a state mandate requiring at least one percent of the construction budget for new public buildings to go toward creating or acquiring artwork for the building.
