Cw: Mention of being hit/slapped by authority figure !!
You guys know that scene in s3 where Shirabu makes some mistake during the game and their coach calls him over and nothing really happens besides him pointing out the mistake, but afterwards Shirabu is talking to Tendou and comments that "you know if this wasn't a game he would of slapped me" okay !
So using the info we can garner from him saying that it seems its lowkey normal for Washijo or wtver his name is to slap his VBC members. I imagine theres been a couple times he's hit them and afterwards they end up regressing and sobbing over it because Why Does He Do That? They didn't mean to mess up! It's not their fault! and the spiraling goes on.
