KYCF stands for Korean Young Adults Christian Fellowship. We are tertiary Korean students from all over Auckland. Our purpose is to spread the gospel to Koreans on campus, as our meetings are held in Korean.

Every Thursday we meet for worship, a sermon, and small group sharing. We invite people and try to reveal God through the love that we share within our community. Most of our members are Christians who wish to worship God on the campus and meet fellow Christians who share the same goal.

Our members are really tight. Every Thursday and Friday after the meetings, we go out to eat together or hang out. On Fridays, student leaders meet, and other members have discipleship training.

We also run camps and events throughout the year. Our biggest event of the year was our annual camp in April. About 60 people came together at Chosen Valley.

This is our vision for KYCF this year, underlining the importance of knowing God through his words.

We thank God especially for His forever faithfulness for us and providing us with the faith to follow Him in His ministry.

Here are some updates on what we have been up to:

Before semester 1 began, staff, executives and group leaders did individual studies and presentations on the book of Joshua as this was the main focus of our February Leaders Retreat. Through this opportunity, by God's grace, we were taught to love and trust God's words and his promises.

On the second week, we put together a set of seminars over a period of two days, especially for new students, which were presented by group leaders on the topic of salvation. These seminars were based from the passages John 3:1-16 and John 4:1-26.

Even though we didn't have the best turnout, God’s message was being proclaimed in our hearts. Through this experience we have been able to learn and adapt out seminars to deliver to future students.

Our next big event was the annual camp “Wisdom 2013.” We headed to Piha on the evening of Easter Sunday for three days where there was a lot of praise, thanksgiving, fellowship, devotion, life changing Words of God and great food.

During the week we meet every Thursday 6:30pm with congregational worship and group Bible study. We have studied faith in Hebrews 11 and our next book to study will be Joshua.
