Trying to decide on a word divider for Gwilith. Kyarith uses Latin/Runic-style interpuncts, but I don’t know if I like that for a more cursive script. I like the idea of whole sentences being unbroken, with all of the letters connecting, and something other than a space serving to differentiate words.
There’s an Arabic calligraphy style that places word-initial graphemes higher than the rest of the word. Some languages have special forms for word-final graphemes. Both of those sound neato, but doing that in font-form would be a butt-hole (I could use capitals to distinguish, but I already use those for syllabics).
I think what I’d like to do is have all graphemes connected, and have word-initial graphemes be marked in some obvious way (like a horizontal line beneath). This would still be a font nightmare, but I might be willing to figure it out...
