              for most of anthony’s life, he’s spent the holidays with sowon. he remembers staying up with him way past their bedtime to catch santa claus when they were younger, remembers the delicious dinners his parents would make for them. he remembers shopping for the most ridiculous, funniest gift he could get sowon for their class’s secret santa event, but all of those memories—as precious as they are—seemed smaller in comparison to... now. “me too,” he says, smiling as he hops down the step stool. they’ve finished decorating the christmas tree, all they had to do was hang up the star, which ant insisted they do together. “hopefully you’ll want to spend new years’ eve together, too? unless you get sick of my face.”
