This is a little delayed but I just want to take a moment to discuss my summer at Kutz.
46 Bowen Road is really and truly home to me, and saying that I'm grateful for my experiences there would be a complete understatement. I not only grew substantially as a songleader this summer, but I know that I have changed significantly as a person in these past three and a half weeks.
To the community I became engrossed in this summer: thank you all for being so wonderful and accepting and loving. I don't think I have ever experienced such unconditional love between a group of 200 teens anywhere other than at Kutz. You all are wonderful and incredible and inspirational. I honestly don't know who I would be without each and every one of you.
Any one out there in NFTY (or not), if you have any ability to go to Kutz, even for just one summer, I urge you to take the opportunity. It 's truly life-changing and well worth it. I know I have made life long connections because of my two years there as a participant, and I have learned so much about the URJ, NFTY, Netzer Olami, and myself not only as a Jewish teen, but as a person in general. If anyone has any questions about anything Kutz related, or anything in general, please feel free to ask me anything!
I just really miss my family and my home back in Warwick a lot right now.
