Kutsuki floats up to the pair, smiling. Hello! Where are we? Oh, and I'm Kutsuki!

Opal: I mean, that’s kind of impossible to do. You can only find this place if you have a pure heart or the blessing of a mew, right?

Twoey: Not these guys! They’re from other universes, so some of our rules don’t apply here! At least that’s what mother said. Didn’t you listen to her when she told us this stuff?

This was very fun! These mewtwos are all so cool!

Noticing the fellow two, Kutsuki dashes up to her much to the dismay of her mother Flora who was forced to catch up.

Flora: Kutsuki! What did I tell you about running off like that!?

Kutsuki: Mama look! Another mewtwo like us!

Flora: I can see that but that doesn't mean you can just bumrush them like that!

The older two rubs the back of her head, bowing.

Sorry bout that. You know how kids are...doesn't help that we're the only mewtwos back home. In any case I'm Flora and this is my daughter Kutsuki. I hope she hasn't startled you...

Rin had strayed a bit from Khione for just a moment to see what foods were available at the stalls. Unable to make up her mind, she decided to skip snacking for now. She was on her way back when something caught her attention, that something being Kutsuki.

Rin was caught off guard. She figured this universe had Mewtwos of its own, but she was surprised to see a child here.

But even more surprising to her was the child's mother trailing along behind. Rin had never entertained the thought of a parent Mewtwo. Aside from her father, who was not a Mewtwo, all she'd ever really known was battling.

After the initial shock left her, Rin spoke:

"It's nothing really," she said. "I suppose I can understand her being excited. It's not an every day sight.

In any case, my name is Rin. Pleased to meet you both."

She considered Flora's words for a moment. "The only Mewtwos?" The species must be quite rare on this world, Rin thought. It made sense -- the same was true of where she came from. Still, curiosity got the better of her: "Are you two not lab-grown then? I have never seen a parent and child Mewtwo duo before."

"Steal? I'm not a thief! No, no, no!"

The gimmighoul seems indignant at the comment, treating the question like an accusation.

"I'll have you know I got this all fair n' square! Found it all myself! Explored lots and lots then brought it back to my chest when I found somethin' cool!"

They wave their arms around as they talk, emphasizing their words. Another voice chiming in distracts the Gimmighoul from rambling further on the topic.

"Oh, um, uh.. its 'cause my chest is up here."

They're caught off guard by the question and slightly embarrassed, evidently having not considered the issues with setting up shop atop an abandoned watchtower.

"Its always been here and I... can't move it. I could put the items in something else but I'd have to run back to put my coins in my chest whenever someone bought something. That's a lotta running back an' forth."

"Oh, right, do you wanna buy something? Either of you? Just one coin!"

[The appearance of the Mewtwo startles him at first, especially when it seems that their voice was inside his head.]

"This is.. Not really a friend it's m' lunch an-"

[Taken back by the Mewtwo's appearance, she solemnly shakes her head.]

“O-oh no I can't allow that.. I- I'm.. Sure he's just taking the scenic route home... Besides, wouldn't your mum be worried about you if you suddenly went off to help a stranger?"

[It would appear she doesn't want to be a bother to the young Mewtwo. After all, what kind of mother would she be if she had another child bring her son back? Regardless, she's thankful for the kind offer.]

“But um.. His name is Seto, and my name is Bo, it's nice to meet you Kutsuki.”

I will go as far as I can. As long as there's curiosity, as long as there's questions to be answered, I will continue searching.

I'm no fool. Human lives are so short in the grand scheme of things. I won't be able to find an answer to everything in my time, but that doesn't mean that the way can't be paved. A passing of the torch, if you will.
