. . • Kusamono • Garden Art • Bonsai Accompaniment • Japanese Art • Garden Accents • Miniature Garden • Mini Plants • Natural Art • Sustainable Art • . . Kusamono is practiced as another art form, and popular in several parts of the world and originated from Japan. Kusamono translates to 'Grass Thing', because natural and unusual grasses were initially used in this art form. Now the art practice uses other unusual plants to create this artwork. . . I was doing #Kusamono since many years and did not know this term or that it is an art form. For me it was yet another instinctive work of creating beauty, to do something in the garden that appeals to my heart, just to be consumed in the joy of growing and gardening. I called them Miniature Garden till I knew it was a worldwide practiced art form. Thanks to the advent of internet and social media, especially Instagram. . . One of the other thing about the Kusamono trend worldwide is the unique containers it uses. From glazed handmade pottery to usual terracotta ones, or any natural elements picked up from Mother Nature, stone, a cup shaped seed, bark , twigs anything for ones imagination to compile a Kusamono. . . In this compilation, I have used a natural Arecanut shell which is halved (I am a collector of such bizzare stuff 😉) , I have used moss and a tiny plant of 🍀Maiden Hair Fern . . I am waiting for my stars to align well with me to learn pottery!!! This is on top of my bucket list. I speak to @betsy_gomez of @lahe_lahe_pottery often indicating to her that I will be her pupil one day soon. . . #kusamonopots #kusamonoart #maidenhairfern #kusamonoart #kusamonobonsai #kusamonoindia #bonsailove #gardenlover https://www.instagram.com/p/B2oa14Dl3n1/?igshid=c96ovd37hoc0
