Fake dating: Mike realizes that the director of a show he’s going to be in thinks that he’s gay, and since most of their conversations seem to center around what the director presumes is shared experience. When the director tries to set him up with someone, and Mike passes on it, he feels the pressure to give a reason, and so he says he already has a boyfriend. As he’s asked more questions, he automatically starts filling in details about his boyfriend in New York. 

When they meet up again in Lima, Mike feels a fondness for his fake boyfriend, and tries to decide whether he should tell Kurt about this, and bring him into the ruse, or not. Definitely, whatever he does has to wait until Kurt knows what’s going on with his father.

Bodyswap: Tina is playing with dark magic, with the intention of switching Kurt and Blaine’s feelings so that Kurt can UNDERSTAND HOW LONELY AND SAD BLAINE IS, but she fucks it up. Blaine turns away and she gets distracted by Blaine’s ass, and at that moment, Mike comes over and drapes his arm over Kurt’s shoulders. POOF! They are in one another’s bodies.

Since Tina is too embarrassed to admit what she did, Mike and Kurt spend some time trying to figure things out, but then they have to go back to their lives. So Mike drills Kurt on dance moves until he nearly drops, and Mike has to go back and try to work at Vogue, make it at NYADA, and not offend the guy Kurt is quasi-dating. Everything is a mess, but Kurt keeps practicing is ass off in Chicago, determined not to ruin Mike’s career. Mike flails at Vogue, succeeds in dance class but struggles to use Kurt’s vocals and in acting class, fights with Santana, and finds himself strangely attracted to Adam, and pulls away so abruptly that he hurts the man’s feelings. 

When Kurt returns to New York to try to fix things (and alert to Mike that he’s lost him a role, he finds out what a disaster things are and rolls up his sleeves to fix things. Luckily, it turns out that Isabelle really is a fairy godmother, and she knew right away that Mike wasn’t Kurt, so she sets them right. They go out to celebrate and spend some time complementing one another on handling their lives... then Mike leans over to kiss Kurt.

Sexpollen/fuck or die/aliens made them do it: Kurt made brownies to smooth over relations with the glee boys, since they have to work together, but while he was baking them in the home ec room, Puck snuck a handful of what he thought was weed into it. Little did he know, it was magic weed, and Mike shows up to the choir room early and takes the first bite. The boys come in afterward to see Kurt mounting Mike on the piano.

Dark!fic: Mike has been obsessed with Kurt for years, but tried to keep a lid on his desires. When he returns from New York, Mike cannot control himself. He invites Kurt over to his house, with wicked intent, but when he tries to knock Kurt out to tie him up, Mike is overpowered, and he suddenly realizes with the flash of Kurt’s sharp teeth that he is something far more dangerous than he could have ever imagined.

Secret kinks: I’m out of kinks. :P

Their first kiss: After a dance lesson. Mike’s blood is pumping, even though Kurt was the one dancing... or because Kurt was the one dancing.

Meeting the parents: They’ve met each others’ parents through Glee functions... Well, Mike had seen Burt there, and at the shop, and Kurt had seen Mama Chang. But Kurt ran into Mike’s dad after Sectionals and threw some shade about him not coming to any of Mike’s extra curriculars. So when they all sit down for a dinner together, there’s some tension.

Moving in together: They both work so much that it takes almost a year for them to end up unpacking everything, but the place is very neat, anyway.
