Let me introduce Kurt Morrison, my PC for Blades in The Dark campaign. It's my 1rst time ever playing ttrpg and I'm having time of my lifeeeee, and this guy has become quite important to me.
Some facts about him: - his age is unknown and difficult to determine - his class is Slide (charisma based/spy/manipulator type of build) - he's the only guy in a four-person smuggler squad - smokes but never drinks alcohol (he only sometimes pretends he does) - very sociable, hates when there's nothing happening around, bro must drown out his thoughts with noise at all cost - smells of ambergris - always needs money, but money doesn't need him - often in trouble - knows everyone - will talk everyone into the ground - Rose's best friend xoxoxo - complicated relationship with manhood

who is the person drawn with rose and what's their relationship?
That would be Kurt! He's the charismatic swindler type. He's @beidak-art's character for the same campaign. (Though, what I'm about to write isn't really meant to be canon to the campaign, it's just for fun. If our gm reads this: we just got carried away talking about them, forgive me...)
Rose and Kurt are coworkers first and foremost, but they have a somewhat murky friends-with-benefits dynamic as well. Kurt is not a trustworthy business partner, but he is a pretty trustworthy friend (at least to Rose) - and he consistently picks up the pieces when she needs to be carried out of a brothel after one too many porters. Trust does funny things to people in a world where it's so rare.
She's annoyed with the fact she's into him (she usually only pursues women, despite being bi), and I think he finds that funny. He is a go-with-the-flow type of man, so he kind of stumbled into this, but he does care about her to a degree. They are both allergic to commitment.
