“Aaaahh.. It’s finally getting warmer out! This is so nice...”

Though it could have been seen as immoral, Tasuku simply couldn’t lay waiting in bed whilst the mistakes he left wandering the streets were still at large. And though Jackknife Dragon was fighting to deter his mind from committing the act, Tasuku was still opening up the hospital window, climbing onto the wooden frame as aerial runes shone brightly at his heels. 

“This is suicide, Tasuku! You’re still not at 100%... Reconsider!”

... That had been the most insufferable hour and a half of his life. Not that the movie itself was that terrible but... So... cheesy...

Giving a heavy sigh and leaning against the other's arm, looking up with discontented eyes, Tasuku felt like he had been the one fighting a world saving battle just sitting through all of that.

It had been a long and hard uphill battle for Tasuku. Recovering from a pierced lung, and other internal ruptures on top of that, had not been easy. His will to live even whilst drowning in the deepest confines of his subconscious had been remarkable and surely in any other cases, they would have died by now. But here he was, the small wonder boy cop, very much alive and opening his eyes for what felt like the first time in forever. He felt so exhausted, the heavy tubes and wires attached to him preventing him from moving so much as an arm without difficulty. Clarity now entering his sight and turning his head with the crane of his neck, there it was, a heartfelt sight--the one person that meant the world to him drifting off at his bedside. He was here... by his side as promised. 

"--Ryuenji, reporting in! I'm taking the south bank down in pursuit of the ringleader! They've split up and my team is on task! Requesting for a police barricade on all city exits! Over!" Radioing his status quickly whilst making a beeline towards his sprinting target, Tasuku and Jack kept their eyes peeled so that he would not escape their radar. He had already been clever enough to have disbanded their group to cover more ground, but Tasuku was the best of the best; he wasn't going to tire until this outlaw was brought to justice.  "We've almost got him, Jack...! Don't let him give us the slip!" ---- It was a showdown of sorts now, with no clear methods of escape left and police barricades surrounding the perimeter, the deed was just about done. However, the criminal fighter in question wasn't going to give in so easily; lifting what looked like a dark core gadget in plain view, he began to call out his ace, Tasuku bracing himself as Jack remained close. Uh, oh...!

"You think a puny Buddy Police Officer such as yourself is gonna stop me?!"

"Jack!" In an attempt to prevent his target from making any harmful or dangerous moves, Tasuku queued in his trusted partner to intercept the attack, only to be halted in mid-flight and drawn back with a mighty swing from the summoned Armorknight Ogre's bludgeoning mallet. Was this the target's Buddy Monster..?! And just when things couldn't get any worse, Ogre had smashed into the nearest parked vehicle, clearing a path where the criminal went on ahead and managed to pull someone from the scattering, nearby crowds. Taking a hostage would surely increase his odds at getting what he wanted, but as Tasuku rushed forward to stop the violence from escalating, he caught a glimpse of the poor victim his target was tugging and shoving into the nearest tall building, at gun point.

"If you wanna make sure this kid stays alive, meet me up at the rooftop! And no FUNNY business or I blow his brains out! Come alone, Boy Cop Wonder!"
