LA CASA LOBO/ THE WOLF HOUSE (2018, Chile)
María es una joven que busca refugio tras escapar de una secta de fanáticos religiosos alemanes en Chile. Ahí es acogida por dos cerdos, únicos habitantes del lugar. Como en un sueño, el universo de la casa reacciona a los sentimientos de María. Los animales se transforman lentamente en humanos, y la casa en un mundo pesadillesco.
Inspirada en el caso de Colonia Dignidad, la película nos presenta uno de los tantos crímenes de la dictadura de Pinochet instalada por EEUU, de sus agentes, de las familias clase alta controlando todo y de como permitió los horrores incluso de alemanes contra nosotros. La presencia alemana en este país va desde los colonos que secuestraron y pusieron en zoológicos a nativos y tratar de exterminarlos a los nazis y sus descendientes en el territorio y también los que migraron después, todos tomando nuestra tierra y nuestras vidas.
María is a young woman seeking refuge after escaping from a sect of German religious fanatics in Chile. There she is taken in by two pigs, the only inhabitants of the place. As if in a dream, the universe of the house reacts to María's feelings. The animals slowly transform into humans, and the house into a nightmarish world.
Inspired by the case of Colonia Dignidad, the film presents us with one of the many crimes of the USA-made dictatorship of Pinochet, its agents, the upper class families controling everything, and how it allowed horrors to be committed even at hands of germans against us, whose presence in this country ranges from the german colonists who tried to exterminate our native peoples, bringing them to the brink of extinction and putting them in zoos, to the Nazis and their descendants in the territory, as well as those who migrated later, all taking our land and our lives.
