Text from an actual shirt my Mom got me for my birthday because of who I am as a person lol.

On one hand I love the spider parts and am bored by the generic human parts 90% of the time.

On the other hand, I think that the human parts pull out some of the most interesting isekai interactions.

Katia realizing she's a girl - isekai cracked her egg and cracked it hard. She was attracted to men in her past life too, which the series makes clear.

Katia and Shun/Schlain's relationship in general. Shun using the power of love and friendship to bring her back from death (but they're totally not confirmed as romantic /s)

One of the most interesting and wrenching moments: Shun finding out his brother died because of the mechanics of the world, long before anyone else. The administrator / voice of the world telling you during third period that your brother just died? Wild.

The concept of the teacher just getting the class roll call as an ability while she's an elf. This means that eventually, she'll just have an ability constantly reminding her that all of her students are dead (or immortal and too powerful to track). Honestly a Frieren-esque series with the teacher would be fascinating, her trying to figure out what to do with her life now that all her students are gone or no longer need her.

I actually like the light novels (I'm more of a reader than a visual person so the manga, while having an adorable Kumoko, is not for me) too, because they give so much more (and let's be honest, Crunchyroll isn't going to do a season 2 anytime soon). And the translations actually lay out the stats pretty understandably, which is something I find a lot of isekai light novels (at least the translations) struggle with doing well.

Its a slice of life sorta thing. Nothing is taken seriously and its not canon!

Essentially the 4 parallel minds seperate into their own spider and they get up to wacky shenanigans. And by wacky shenanigans i mean absoluty crazy stuff, stuff that doesnt exist in canon. Also its not a fight to survive situation, they actually usually somewhat get along with almost all of the monsters!!

Its set only in the dungeon but Ariel and the puppets make an appearence. So does the dragon guy (Gui something?), the earth dragons, the mother taraterect, Admin D, and the humans (but the humans only appear maybe twice or something)

Sometimes modern stuff they shouldnt have exists for no reason

I dont know how to explain it without spoiling some of the fun bits bc you have to read it and experience the madness

Although it doesnt really have a plot at all. They just do crazy sometimes unrelated stuff each chapter

It makes me question who was behind the storyline bc its insane
