birds of a feather, don't necessarily flock together.

It was a fine day for strolling through the perimeter, undisturbed and without distractions.
The Doctor had recently made out to visit the library in which he got engrossed with rather easily and of course, picked up a few books from. A scholarβs mind was always hungry for knowledge, and he intended to satiate this hunger in combination with a little walk.
Book in hand, he wandered down one of the streets, making annotations on pages of interest with a pencil whenever something caught his eye he wanted to study deeper later.
Advanced Robotics, a topic he had been passionate about all his life, but only now found extensive time to properly study again. At the very least, being pulled from Teyvat had the benefit that he now had a lot of time on his hands to extend his research before beginning a new, bigger, grander scheme. He needed to understand the law of these lands and the machinations before he could even think about dethroning any divine authority.Β
He needed to know what exactly he was up against.
But in the meantime, pursuing simple pleasures like these was good enough to fill in the gaps. Even in Teyvat, time was a resource he had plenty of; now, he had even more of it on his hands.
Rounding the next corner his eyes darted over a passage of utmost significance, and blissfully ignored the presence that loomed right around it.
With a dull thump he bumped into someone on the sidewalk, which wouldnβt have bothered him otherwise - he wouldβve just gone and continued on with his book as if nothing happened, if it wasnβt for the way that person was dressed.
The first thing greeting him was a red - he believed it called - tengu mask, and he couldnβt shake the feeling that it somehow looked familiar. So the Doctor let the literature down to properly look at the woman he ran into, not recognizing her however. Pouting at her, he cleared his throat, βyouβre in the way.β
