I randomly decided to play some old RPG Maker games from back in the day, and stumbled upon possibly my favorite homebrew RPG game. Alter AILA. This game just blew my mind when I first played it a few years back, and playing through it again, it seems to retain all the charm and awesomeness that I remember.
Here's the setup: You are Blue, a quiet brooding fellow who is locked in the Beyond Thunderdome style game with eight other people, with equally color-based code names. Everyone reports to this brutal Kugar character, who forces them to fight every day in the game just to get enough food and money to survive, as only the winning team gets anything to eat. From there though, it branches out, as the whole group escapes and you're given the option to either run away, join the rebellion again Kugar, or even join Kugar as one of his cronies. Plus, beyond all that, there's a hidden fourth option that you can't unlock until after you beaten the other three.
The characters are awesome, and surprisingly well written. I have a personal fondness for White, Orange, and Green, though the path you take determines which characters will be on your side, and which ones will be your opponents. The battle system is simple at first, but very fun. Each character only has a single inherent ability, but later battles are very dependent on item usage. Finding enemy weaknesses is key, and taking advantage of your character's weapon types in order to deal out solid damage to difficult foes. All the characters use guns, and of a variety of different types. Everything from pistols to shotguns to White's badass machine gun.
There is also a sequel/remake of this game called Alter AILA Genesis. I have yet to start playing this one, but the videos have gotten me pretty excited. This is definitely one of the most creative and enjoyable homebrew RPGs out there, in my opinion, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys those 16-bit styled games.

For Kugar (love the name and am dying to know more):
What was their first time like?
Who is louder/noisier?
Who’s better at dirty talk/dirty talk headcanon?
What would each member say their favorite thing about the other(s) is?
THANK YOU, ELIIII! MY LOVEEE! ♡
From this list!
Their first time was in the fight club back when they were both only cage fighters. He watched her take down a dude twice her weight and before you know it they were getting busy in the hallway, covered in blood and sweat, everyone knew what they were doing because they're louder than the club music. It was loud, hot, and slutty... how romantic. ♡
As just mentioned, they're both loud! Kano doesn't hold back and Sugar is very vocal even when she tries to be quiet. Kano has a habit of letting out praises/degredations in the heat of the moment and Sugar loves urging him on when he does a good job.
Oof... gotta say both again. Kano is nasty, says exactly what he wants and how he wants it. He'll take on a different demeanor for Dame since she prefers foreplay a certain way. She's a fan of being commanding in the bedroom because she knows Kano will do whatever she asks.

Kano, deep in thought: "...Ass. No, tits. No! Those hips... dammit, those long legs too-"
In a high rise, at the very top floor, sat a woman at her desk, idly smoking as she gazed over her city from above. The hour was late but she was accustomed to working at night. She looked over the glittering lights of the neighboring buildings from her own dark office, glancing at the clock on the wall as minutes ticked by.
Her mind was a rolodex filled with a collection of dates, times, names, and numbers. Even with her busy schedule she always remembered her nightly ritual, and frowned bitterly as she saw she was ten minutes behind on schedule.
It was a dangerous life she lived. She was the face of her company, handling deals with investors that would ideally never make the headlines should things be fortunate. And at the most unfortunate of times she would be the one responsible for their dissapearances.
At her best she was an unknown in a group of well knowns, but that's how she liked it.
Her thoughts were pulled away by the sound of her phone ringing, almost too loud in the dark room. With proper nails she toyed with the cord, picking up the landline with small delay.
Her voice was caramel smooth as she answered, "Speak."
The voice on the other end was not the usual she'd hear.
"Good evening, madame. Kano cannot come to meet your call."
The raspy voice on the other end was muffled by loud music and what sounded like people grunting, and crowds cheering. The woman ignored the background noise.
"Where is he, Salvador?" Her voice was firm, and the man on the other end found he could not deny her.
"Busy with a deal. I doubt he's going to make it, ma'am."
The woman continued toying with the phone cord. A headache pounded at her temple as she ignored the copper scent that invaded her office.
With resolve she continued, "Tell him his Hell Dame calls, please."
The man was silent, the sound of jubilation in the background louder. His voice returned shortly.
"...Yes, madame. One moment."
She idled to herself listening to the noise on the other end. Taking a drag from her cigarette she pictured what the fight club may look like. A room full of a drinking crowd, the purtrid scent of blood and alcohol, and sitting atop his throne of death would be the very man she intended to speak with.
His voice is what drew her from her fantasizing.
"Hello, baby. Miss me?"
She stopped tapping her polished nails against the desk, not even realizing she was doing it in the first place.
"You made me wait."
The comraderie was loud in the background, Kano's voice rose above it, "Only a few minutes, but I'm here ain't I, baby?"
She hummed, pursing her lips as she smothered her cigarette, "How did the deal go?"
He snorted, "Ah fuck them, took too much time so I walked out."
"Thats not how to conduct business, husband," She slipped off her black heels, setting her feet on the desk.
"One small deal ain't shit to hold me back from talking to you. Ain't you also have a deal tonight too?"
She glanced at the couches in her office, meeting the dead eyes of her former clients. Clean up would be a nightmare.
"Hm. No dice, we could not meet any agreements and thus..." She clicked her tongue hearing him take a swig of what she assumed was beer. "The club sounds joyful tonight."
"We got a few new scrappers. Tough ones they are."
"..."
"...What do you have on mind, baby?"
"Hm?" She responded, mind wandering.
"You only pause when you're going to ask for something. Out with it, dollface."
She pursed her lips, choosing her words carefully. Her head was pounding terribly. She would need to find her glasses. Kano waited patiently for her answer.
"...I'd like to visit the compound sometime soon."
He burst into laughter, "Thats a good one, baby! ...You're serious?"
The Dame frowned deeply, chewing the inside of her cheek. He'd never thought to bring her around his base, he didn't think her fragile moreso he saw his own base unworthy of her time. Why would someone of her level be there?
Her voice remained calm, "I'd like to see where our money is going."
Kano was beside himself, he sputtered, "To a bunch of bloody mercs with half a brain between them. I could tell you that!"
The Hell Dame exhaled loudly, readjusting her dress. Of course she knew where the money went, it was her job to dish it out.
"Still... ," She hesitated, but decided to try regardless for her sentimental request. "I... miss my time in the fighting cage some days."
All that could be heard between the two phone lines was the continued sound of cheering in the fight cage and the recognizable noise of flesh being flayed. Both knew the sound well.
It took a few seconds (and the sound of a few more swigs) for Kano to finally speak.
"You were a real killer, baby..." He spoke sweetly, in a tone no one but her had heard. "...tell you what."
She perked up instantly.
Kano continued, smugness present in his voice, "Swing by when the boys are out and I'll give you a tour and a front row seat, how's that?"
The Hell Dame was not one to be improper, even when in the presence of no one but her husband. She allowed herself to hum to herself, vibrant smile on her blood red lips.
"Suitable. Thank you, husband."
Kano laughed to himself, practically patting himself on the back at making his wife happy. Sure, his boys were a but rough, but if keeping them at bay meant getting to see his wife tear some lowlifes apart, well... it'd be worth it.
A smile pulled at his lips, "Can't say no to you, princess."
Two panel comic idea of Kugar with Sugar letting out a deep exhale as she removes her corset (showing her belly/stretch marks) and it cuts to panel two with Kano completely overcome by lust-
