 The woman shook her head for the umpteenth time that day (or was it night? It was always dark in this blasted realm, she'd lost track of time), sleep threatening to take over. Mind foggy and arms aching, Aqua pushed herself to keep going, wherever it was she was going. As long as she kept moving, she knew she won't fall victim to sleep. While a well-needed rest did indeed seem well needed, the Master knew it would only make her an easy targets for those things that ruled this realm.

  It'd been months. Perhaps even years since Aqua had even seen any form of light besides her own. The Wayfinder strapped to her hip acted as a source of light to fight through this hellish realm, the Realm of Darkness, as she's dubbed it, but that light could only do so much to keep her spirit up. And every once in a while, when the creatures were scurrying elsewhere and danger seemed low, the woman often let her thoughts drift to better times and places. Back to Ventus, Terra, their master and father, Master Eraqus - where the light was always shining and never seemed to die out.
