In the wake of another post attempting to gatekeep the LGBTQ+ community and ostracise us. I want to say thank you to all the members of the LGBTQ+ community who have come out in support of Aces, Aromantics and Aroaces today. Reminding both members of the directly impacted communities and the wider LGBTQ+ community that people on the aro and ace spectrums will always have a home and a safe space with LGBTQ+ people.

The book follows a single timeline set entirely in the 1950s it is much more political. I will say the Skippy nickname is actually explained, though. I prefer the political alignments of the book. Its open narrative follows multiple storylines using multiple narrators.

The series is more sexual. Jumps through time and follows Tim and Hawk with the politics as a concern around them. It feels like it is using Tim, Hawk, Marcus and Frankie to tell a story of the socio-political situation of the times.

The one thing both have in common is a potential interpretation of Hawk's behaviour. He is very easy to dislike and requires thought to understand.

Personally I think it is unlikely that he was the one that hit her. But I think that was the car race he was in. Tian's reluctance to drive is tied to the previous statement, he was there it shook him.

Episode 1

We see Torfun get hit by the car. There was no other traffic on the street when Torfun was hit. Which just feels wierd to me.

My car nerd self wanted to see if we were shown the car. It's a silver Audi. I am willing to debate the make if you wish.

At a casino Tian gets invoved in hat has been presented as a car drag race. Notably the editing does not show the badge on keys of Tian, his friend or the man in the casino.

If we assume there it was a drag race, the car was losing by a margin.

Episode 5

It is confirmed that Tian's car when he was leaving the casino was silver. In that same scene he states the car was souped up.

Tian tells Doc Nam he does not drive.

As we reach the end of Manner of Death and in the aftermath of that wonderful and rewarding finale I want to say thank you. Thank you to this fandom for weeks of brilliant meta and theorsing. To the gif makers all your gifs are fantastic, whether you get all the notes of few. And those single line posts that have just made me stop and think.

Special shout out to Dailymotion's jiminskook (if they are on here) for making Manner of Death to those of us who cannot access it any other way.

Because I rewatched it and decided that all those gifs people made 5 years ago need to see that light of day again. I'm really not sure how long this will go for because my queue is just ticking along and they aren't all in there yet.
