Just for extra context, when Marx says "better", he‘s talking about in terms of power. It ties in with Marx being a Noddy and feeling weak and therefore useless because of it. What I‘m saying is that Marx values power and strength a lot- so he doesn’t see anything wrong with his soul form and doesn’t realize how far gone is.
