It has 2 filters in the body and 5 in the shower head, depending on the sediment in the water and when it gets purified, it will get caught and the filter changes color by 30 days to be changed, maximum 60 days. It changes the color of the LED light, blue for cold, green for lukewarm and red for hot. I noticed the shower head has a star in the middle and as soon as you turn it on, you can feel it on your hands. I was very surprised that the water pressure appeared to be more than the old shower head I had. It feels amazing, almost like a massage on my back since the pressure is amazing. Shower head filters are easy to change, just unscrew, change it and put it back.
