@kryzecommander: “People keep asking how Mandalore is these days. Well, most everyone is dead and everything is on fire. So business as usual I guess.”
Archex had only ever heard about Mandalore through tales back in the age of the Empire. Whispered quietly between fellow stormtroopers when they should have been resting but sleep evaded them. It was rare the stories ever centered on one fixated thing for long, but the subject had sprung up two or three times.
Otherwise, he found himself more lacking in knowledge than anything-- a thing he’s come to notice was a pattern, because despite the rank he’d earned before informally defecting he still was uninformed on so many things deemed unnecessary. A frown graces Archex’s features, and he finds himself sitting back. Sorrow filled his soul to hear that they still seemed to be struggling-- that it seemed something set in stone at this point, if the tales were to be believed.
“I’m sorry to have brought it up, then.” He offered softly. Curiosity had gotten the better of him-- he’d never anticipated he’d come across someone from Mandalore ever in his life, and figured that if ever he did he’d still had been clad in some colour of stormtrooper armour and likely holding a blaster to them. While he was happy to have it be otherwise, the news was still solemn.
