Soggoth the Slitherer and the Horn of the Ancients
The colossal skeleton of Soggoth the Slitherer, a herald of the Old Gods, lays buried beneath the broken remains of nineteen stone giants--their shared grave far older than even the Kaldorei. The Shattering left Soggoth’s skeleton exposed and the Twilight’s Hammer began a ritual to resurrect the monstrosity. Fortunately, the Horn of the Ancients, known commonly as the “Keeper’s Horn,” is used to awaken and rally the Ancients which ultimately defeat the Slitherer’s Avatar. This horn is so powerful even the naga of Nazj’vel had attempted to present it, albeit unsuccessfully, to Azshara, thinking it a worthy offering to their queen.
RP Ideas Horns are a very common Kaldorei battle instrument, so an OC might own such a device through inheritance, a custom craft, or through looting a dead combatant; perhaps visiting the skeleton left an OC haunted with nightmares or tempted by whispers of power; the massive, and yet ornate, sword that slayed the creature may inspire a master crafter or even define their work; perhaps the battle between Soggoth and Kronn was a bedtime tale told by an OC’s parents, to instill fear of dark places; etc!
