Women in Mahabharata - Kritvi
Kritvi/Keerti is the daughter of Peevari and Shuka, and a granddaughter of Vyasa.
Although her association as a pitri-kanya implies that she might have been an adopted child, in keeping up with her mother's personal experience and a probable desire to continue the tradition.
She is the wife of the Anuha/Nipa/Gau. She is the mother of Brahmadatta, a famous king of Panchala.
Her story is although a bit anachronistic, since Anuha lived and died at least 7-8 generations before even her grandfather's time.
