𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 | Last week, for 4 days only, @kricketlondon teamed up with @malaysiaairlines for an exclusive Taste Tour menu. Will and Rik from Kricket recently flew out to Kuala Lumpur and Penang to draw some inspiration for their taste tour menu. The starters were grilled enoki mushroom, with greens, lemongrass, and kaffir lime. Duck hearts with satay, pickled cucumber, and duck scratchings. Nasi Lemak. Coconut rice, fried anchovies, peanut, Kashmiri sambal, confit egg, pickled cucumber. For mains we had garlic black pepper crab. Malay fried chicken, with sambal mayo, pickled mooli, and fried curry leaves. Kapitan Curry. Beef shin curry, fried shallots, and lime leaf. Dessert was mangosteen with pandan ice cream. Top dishes for me were the beef shin curry and the crab. I love how the crab was served like a dip, but it was full of flavour. The Malay chicken and the duck hearts came next, both meats being so tender. I’ve never actually been to Kricket before, and it was always in the top section of my places to visit.
