ahhhhh thank you so much for sending me this message!!! it makes me so happy to find out that people are still finding and enjoying KOTIB even though it’s been so long since i started writing it :)

I’m DEFINITELY going to finish it at some point because I still really like it! I just have no idea how long it’s going to take because a) it’s been so long since I’ve written something that I’m v out of practice and b) I go back to college next week and I know that as soon as I do all of my free time will be eaten up by the three music groups I’m in and the research I’m starting this semester lol

hey babe, i don’t know if you’ve been looking at my blog in the last few days but i absolutely have plans to continue it!!! i’ve been doing an ask-game-type thing to both motivate myself and offer some previews for the next chapter, and i’m working on the chapter rn and just paused to answer this ask! updates will continue to be slow after i finally finish this one (bc i’m starting college EEP!), but they will continue! 

first line: Richard “Dick” Campbell Gansey III.

lol, technically that line is the first line of my WIP, since the entire fic is a WIP, but I’m not that mean so...

first line (of ch. 14): One second, Adam was highlighting his calculus lecture notes from last week in an effort to try and remember how the hell he was supposed to answer the questions in his problem set. The next second, Blue Sargent had somehow managed to snatch up his notebook and highlighter, toss them onto his bed, and perch herself on his desk, all in a single motion. She then proceeded to smile at him as if this was completely normal. 

(Although Adam supposed that because Blue Sargent was involved, it kind of was.)

annnnnd last line (of ch. 14): Matthew bit his lip, eyes darting between the two of them, and said, “I'm sorry. I don't remember how Mom made it.”
