The title: This is why I said no!

13. Playlists - I do, actually! Usually, I start with a playlist I already have and build from there. Currently, I have two for Here Come the Vultures. One is all of Delain's studio releases in chronological order (it's 10 hours long!) and the other is only the songs that I have or will be featuring throughout the course of the story. I also have one for Incanto, and it's all acapella songs from Mediaeval Baebes. It relates to a part of the crew's history of performing together in a cemetery in the middle of the night (the original Baebes actually did this!!! I love Katherine Blake so much.)

4. What would "This is why I said no!" be about? My immediate thoughts are one of two things. Either it's Keith bringing a baby Kosmo home and he isn't house trained yet (and makes a mess all over Lance's clean floors, Keith! This! This right here is why I said no!), or Mage!Lance plans a special date in his dramatic over the top way, and it ends up going absurdly sideways (Keith just wanted something quiet, but Lance wanted extra glitter, and fireworks, Lance? Really? This is why I said no, Keith tells him as they hang suspended by their cloaks off the side of a building).

Merenung pintu masuk bangunan klasik di Hospital Kuala Lumpur selama lebih 12 jam hampir setiap hari. Tampak mudah tetapi begitulah cabaran yang perlu dihadapi wartawan tempatan mahupun luar negara.

Bukan sesuatu yang janggal apabila negara menjadi tumpuan dunia tetapi ini adalah masa untuk wartawan menjana kreativiti melapor berita agar tidak pulang dengan tangan kosong.

Kali ini dunia sekali lagi menanti apakah kesudahan kes anak sulung bekas pemerintah kuku besi Korea Utara, Kim Jong-il iaitu Kim Jong-nam yang mati dibunuh menggunakan racun oleh ejen upahan di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur 2 (KLIA2) pada 13 Februari lalu.

Setiap hari ada saja barangan ikhtiar hidup yang dibawa oleh mereka sehingga ada yang membawa conferter kerana perlu berjaga sehingga pagi keesokannya.

Ada yang persoal mengapa melakukan perkara bodoh menunggu sedemikian dan tidak hanya menunggu kenyataan pihak hospital daripada pejabat.

Di sinilah kalian perlu faham istilah ekslusif (bertaraf tinggi) dan segar terus dari lokasi. Keasliannya sudah tentu dikuatkan lagi dengan fakta yang telah diperkemaskan dalam setiap penulisan yang berbeda gayanya.

Melihat lokasi penantian betul-betul di hadapan Institut Perubatan Forensik Negara (IPFN), saling tak tumpah seperti lokasi puak gelandangan menghabiskan masa kerana tak punya hala tuju.

Hari berganti hari, petugas juga saling berganti tetapi wajah mereka kian kusam dek kerana keletihan menunggu keputusan siasatan pihak hospital.

Berbekalkan semangat dan minat, mereka teguh berdiri di lokasi untuk menghasilkan pemberitaan yang berkualiti dengan pegangan etika yang menggunung.

Razif claims Chong Wei using banned substance for a long time

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11, 2014:

Former national shuttler Razif Sidek claimed that world No. 1 Datuk Lee Chong Wei has been using for a long time the banned substance like the one he was reported to have tested positive for in the recent doping scandal.

Razif made this claim via Malay daily Kosmo! where he alleged that many badminton officers within the Badminton Association Malaysia (BAM) were aware of what Chong Wei was doing.

He also alleged that Chong Wei had hired a foreign doctor for that purpose.

However, Razif claimed that no one dared to say anything due to Chong Wei’s credibility as a world badminton champion.

“Before this, it was hard to say anything because there was no concrete proof. But now he is caught. I don’t want to make accusations, but this has been going on for a while,” Razif claimed.

“Senior players and officers knew about this. In fact, the junior players had gotten wind of it, but they realise that this athlete is a national hero.

“I was made to understand that he has been using this drug and had even hired a doctor to come here (Malaysia) just so he can use the banned substance.

“Haven’t I said it before (about Chong Wei being mixed up in the use of banned substance)? I am not one to make blind accusations. But this information has been made known by several individuals in the association,” Razif claimed, as quoted by Kosmo!

Meanwhile, national single’s badminton coach Rashid Sidek pledged full support to Chong Wei, offering to give a statement to the Badminton World Federation’s hearing committee panel.

Rashid is also confident of Chong Wei’s innocence because, according to him, the world No. 1 player has always stuck to the principle of there are no short cuts to success.
