 WHAT WERE the chances of stumbling upon a pair of discarded chinese handcuffs on the floor? You can also throw in the Mako reactors, which allowed everybody on Midgarâs plate (less so in the slums) to live comfortable lives⌠by slowly killing the planet.
Now, to be fair, the Turks werenât responsible for those things; but they work for Rufus. Ad while Rufusâs father might have been responsible for those things, Rufus made it abundantly clear that he planned to be a worse President than his father was.
Seems fairly reasonable, yeah.
On the other hand, after Meteorfall and the Geostigma Crisis, Rufus toned down his whole evil shtick quite a lot; both he and Shinra Inc. itself did a lot to make repairs and improve the lives of everyone, even the Planet.
