Now about fandoms. I really, really dislike fandoms. They're always calling each other delusional, stupid or ignorant. They're always saying so and so isn't as good at so and so. Like on an article about the Golden Disk Awards, VIPs and ELFs were just bashing on each other. Stuff like "oh super junior isn't even good," "ELFs bulk buy," "VIPs are the worst," "you're a delusional ELF / VIP" keeps surfacing because Super Junior got Daesang award and Big Bang couldn't attend (therefore no awards). SHINee got the Bonsang award. As much as I love SHINee, I'm not going around bashing ELFs and Super Junior. I'm not calling VIPs the worst fandom ever. I'm not writing offensive and insulting comments about about other fandoms. Why can't people just understand that people have different biases and opinions?! It's wrong to demand that one group doesn't work as hard or isn't as good as the other group. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is it not? I don't mean people have to agree that so and so is the best; the least people could do is to respect that the other groups also have dedicated fandoms.
I acknowledge and respect the fact that fans love their biases. But after going back to the article on allkpop about SHINee's comeback, half of the stuff is EXOtics complaining and mentioning EXO. They're complaining about how they have been waiting for EXO's comeback and whatnot; but damn, Shawols have been waiting too! You guys aren't the only ones waiting for their idols to have a comeback. I know that there is a connection and relevance between SHINee's and EXO's comebacks, but can't you just let SHINee have their chance to shine? I mean what the fuck, we're all happy about their comeback and people are just coming in to complain about how their group doesn't have a comeback. I really don't appreciate this at all. Like dude, can you not dampen the mood? SHINee deserves a comeback as much as EXO does and it's just unfair to whine about EXO on SHINee's comeback article. (And don't give me shit about how no one said the world is fair. Cuz if it ain't fair, I would be able to stab all of y'all and be able to get away with it. Now you won't be happy with that would you?)
Personally I think Shawols are like one of the nicest fandoms ever. You don't see Shawols commenting on articles and saying how other group didn't deserve the award, how the other group doesn't work as hard as SHINee does, and etc. We don't do any of that (not that I've seen of). The bad aspect of being a nice fandom is that other fandoms just continuously bash on us. Another bad aspect is that other fandoms fight as if their idols are the only ones that are good. Please, SHINee deserve as much fame as Super Junior or Big Bang (just to name a few) does.
I hate how fandoms just fight and fight. Guise, stop fighting. It doesn't look good for your fandom. It doesn't look good for your biases. Just stop. People have to learn to respect that not everyone likes the same groups. People have to stop fighting as if their biases are the only ones that matter. There are other people who love their idols. And lastly, don't go on another group's celebratory article and complain constantly about your bias. It is not appreciative. Shawols want to be excited about SHINee's comeback, so you EXOtics stay out of it. When EXO gets their comeback, you EXOtics will probably not appreciate it if some other fandom complained on your celebratory article. I'm not hating on EXOtics, but EXOtics comments on the page just tipped me over the edge, causing me to write about this.
